The next DIRC Disability Forum will be held on Thursday September 1st and is titled “Universal Design – Applications in everyday life”. The forum will be presented by David Hobbs BSc, BSc/BEng (Biomedical)(Hons).
David has degrees in Physics and Biomedical Engineering and more than 10 years’ experience working as a Rehabilitation Engineer in the field of Assistive Technology and disability. Since 2004 David has been teaching Universal Design to students at Flinders University, to develop awareness of the field and to highlight how designers can positively affect usability and accessibility through good design.
