Wheelchair Safety and Standards Monitoring

Engineers Australia’s National Committee on Rehabilitation Engineering (NCRE) is hosting their 8th Annual National Symposium on Wheelchair Safety and Standards Monitoring.

The focus this year is on optimal wheelchair provision, and what this means to the different stake holders that are involved in the process. In other words:
“What does it take to get the right wheelchair, to the right client, to the right place, at the right time & price and with the right funding?”

Different stakeholders have different perspectives on how to achieve this. Join the NCRE in exploring this topic. Hear opinions from clients, clinicians, funders and suppliers. Join in a forum discussion towards investigating and understanding this complex issue.
Wednesday 16th September 2009

9.30am – 3.30pm

Auditorium, Engineers Australia Victorian Division
21 Bedford Street, North Melbourne, VIC

Cost: $110 inc GST
