This Directory provides detailed information on over 650 South Australian disability service and support organisations and it lists disability information services similar in function to DIRC that are located in other Australian states. The DIRC Current Awareness Service is just what you need to keep up to date with what’s happening in the disability area. CAS contains…- A list of journal articles on disability issues from a wide range of Australian and international journals. There are over 90 articles in each issue, selected from journals held in the DIRC library and other disability libraries within South Australia. Your subscription includes up to 15 free articles per issue (which equates to 60 free articles per year).
- An up-to-date listing of disability related seminars, conferences and other events around Australia. Useful when you are budgeting to attend functions or planning your own event so as to avoid clashes, or to coincide with like events.
- A list of recent additions to the DIRC library. Most of these are available via direct loan from the Centre or on inter-library loan through your most convenient library service.
- Updates on disability agencies. Keeps you up to date with changes to existing services, new services and closures. An effective way to keep your Disability Information Directory South Australia current between editions.
