Christmas In July!
MIFSA Respite House is pleased to offer a residential group program which provides recovery based respite services to Carers and Care Recipients. The program is available for up to 7 participants
who are living with a mental illness and receive regular support of a family member or friend. Carers are also welcome to attend or take a break from their usual caring role. The group will enjoy activities,
excursions and shared meals, while staying at the MIFSA Respite House.
When: Tuesday 9th July to Friday 12th July 2013

The Christmas Party for Special Children has kindly donated a limited number of tickets to Autism SA for their 2012 Christmas Party at the Adelaide Zoo. This event is to be held on Sunday 2 December 2012 from 8:30am – 1:00pm.
To register your interest, please contact the Autism SA Infoline on 1300 288 476 before Thursday 15 November 2012.
Please Note: This does not guarantee you a ticket as priority will be given to children who DID NOT attend in 2011.
Conditions
- Each ticket only allows for one child and one adult/carer to attend and you cannot purchase extra tickets as the Zoo is closed to the public on this morning.
- Tickets are only available for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, not siblings.
- Where more than one child in the family has a diagnosis please note tickets are allocated based on gender and age, so we will not always be able to provide tickets for each child in the family.

This free community event will include a free BBQ lunch, full bar facilities, loads of entertainment including the fabulous Linda McCarthy, a great surprise band, exotic belly dancer, singing Santa, face painter, arts activities, colourful umbrella installation and lots more.
This will all be held in the beautiful Golden Grove Arts Centre, a fully accessible venue with loads of room to dance or socialise, air conditioned comfort etc.
This event is disability friendly, family friendly and open to the whole community.

On Wednesday December 12th from 11am to 2pm Tony Doyle Visions and the City of Tea Tree Gully will present:
the second CRACKER CHRISTMAS CABARET
This free community event will include a free BBQ lunch, full bar facilities, loads of entertainment including the fabulous Linda McCarthy, a great surprise Band, exotic Belly Dancer, Singing Santa, Face Painter, Arts Activities, Colourful Umbrella’s Installation and lots more.

Last year’s event was on the Friday before Christmas when a lot of organisations had break up activities, this year we are expecting big crowds and a great Christmas atmosphere, once again please enter this into your diary’s and programmes now.
