A workshop for practitioners who work with multi-system, multi-problem, complex & co-morbid situations which appear resistant to influence. Based on the Bower Place Complex Needs Clinic, this workshop reviews change theory & practice & applies it to individuals, couples & families who present with complex mental health issues, substance abuse, relationship fragmentation, violence & abuse, in the context of disability & systemic disadvantage. This workshop presents an alternative view of transformational change & strategies for working effectively with very challenging clients & their families.
