The Dawn Slade-Faull Award commemorates the life of Dawn Slade-Faull; an artist and a great advocate for people with a disability.
The Award is intended to encourage people with a disability who show promise as artists or craftspeople, and can provide assistance for their professional development.
Inaugurated in 1988, over 30 artists have received assistance from the Trust Fund. Artists and craftspeople from a diverse range of disciplines have received awards, including painters, potters, jewellers, quilters, woodworkers, and others.
Applications may be made by any resident of South Australia who carries an intellectual, physical, psychiatric or sensory disability – or, where necessary, by their advocates.
