‘Heightening our Common Sense’ will be a night to explore the seven senses (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing, vestibular and proprioception). Guests will learn that we do have seven senses – individuals living with ASD, have an under or over sensitivity to the seven senses and experience these differently to neuro-typical individuals.
Date: Saturday 4 June 2011 7:00pm – 12:00am
Venue: Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Corner Port Road & Adam Street, Hindmarsh
Cost: $135 per person ($1,350 per table of 10)

The Great Strides Walkathon is an event held by Cystic Fibrosis SA to raise funds to provide services for children and young adults with Cystic Fibrosis.
The walkathon will take place on Sunday 27 March 2011 at 2 locations:
- Henley Square: Henley to Grange jetty and return
- Strathalbyn Park: Scenic loop from Strathalbyn Park and return
Registration is at 9.30am. The walkathon commences at 10.30am.
You can choose to participate in the run for a fee, or you can choose to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis:

Muscular Dystrophy South Australia will be holding a Twilight Walk at Henley Beach South on Sunday February 27th 2011. The walk will start at Ozone Reserve by the corner of Seaview Rd and Ozone St.
Join MDSA at 4pm to raise funds for children and adults who live everyday with a neuromuscular disorder. There will be a casual walk along the beach or path and then return to the Ozone Reserve to watch the sun set. A glass of fine wine, live jazz music and Mediterranean cuisine will complete this relaxing evening.

A walking event for the whole family!
Round up your family and friends and join Active Ageing Australia for s Sunday morning amble through Adelaide’s beautiful city surroundings.
Where
Starts in the park next to the Torrens Parade Ground and meanders along a picturesque Torrens River Linear Route and Botanic Gardens.
When
Sunday 24 October 2010, 9am for a 9.30am start.
Entry Fee
$5 for individuals, $12 for a family of 4.
3 Routes are available: 4km, 2.5km or 1km. No time limit.
Registrations close Friday 15th October by post, fax or online. Enter in person 18th – 22nd at 73 Wakefield St Adelaide. Late registrations acceptable on the day with a $5 late fee.

Raise money to support Heart Kids SA by riding or walking from Bonython Park to West Beach on Sunday 17th October.
Cost
$25 per adult, $15 for children under 18.
Event t-shirts are available to purchase for $35.
Time and Location
Sunday 17th October 2010. Registrations start from 8.30am, ride/walk starts approx 10am.
Ride/walk will follow the Torrens River Linear Park track down to West Beach and return (approx 20km). Ride as little or as much as you like.

Parents Assisting Kids with Autism (PAKA) are presenting their second Lilac Dinner Dance! It’s back for 2010 after a huge success in 2008, to raise funds for social development programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders through Autism SA.
Saturday August 28th 2010 at Fogolar Furlan, 69 Briar Rd Felixtow from 7pm until late.
