PAKA’s Second Lilac Dinner Dance

Parents Assisting Kids with Autism (PAKA) are presenting their second Lilac Dinner Dance! It’s back for 2010 after a huge success in 2008, to raise funds for social development programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders through Autism SA.

Saturday August 28th 2010 at Fogolar Furlan, 69 Briar Rd Felixtow from 7pm until late.

Tickets $75 for a three course dinner including beer, wine and soft drinks (Input taxed fundraising event. GST not applicable.)

Wear lilac and party till late to live band the James Brothers and live DJ MTME.

Live auction and silent auction.

Raffle with great prizes, spot prizes and door prizes.

Eddie Rice Camps Toy Story 3 Fundraiser

Come along to see a much loved classic and support Edmund Rice Camps to continue to provide services for young people and their families.

When: Friday June 25th at 6.30pm.

Where: Capri Theatre, 141 Goodwood Rd, Goodwood.

Cost: $13ea for ERC members, $15 for non-members, or $11 for children under 14.

There will be lucky tickets numbers and a raffle  on the door which will be drawn at the completion of the movie.

E.B.L Disability Services are hosting a Valentines Quiz Night fund raising event.

Go the distance for Autism SA

2009 Sunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run
Autism SA’s Team 580

With only 3 weeks to go until this event, we hope that you can join our team today, in support of Autism SA’s ‘Team 580′.

580 is the number of individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in the last financial year. 580 is the number we hope will go the distance at the 2009 Sunday Mail City-Bay Fun Run.

Dance the night away to ‘Party Cats’

On Friday 31st July there will be dance to help raise funds for prostate cancer research. The money will benefit the Flinders Medical Centre’s research efforts to find a cure.

The dance will be held at the West Croydon and Kilkenny RSL Hall, 19 Rosetta St, West Croydon at 7pm. It’s a ‘bring your own supper’ affair. Bar facilities will be available (all drinks at RSL members prices) so there will be no BYO drinks.

The music will be by the Party Cats, Adelaide’s number 1 50’s and 60’s rock and roll duo, comprised of Peter Tilbrook (formerly of The Masters Apprentices) on vocals and lead guitar, with Brian “Davvo” Davidge on bass and backing vocals.

The theme is Doctors and Nurses with a prize for the best dressed doctor and nurse.
