SHine SA are pleased to announce that community grants of up to $400 are available to community groups and agencies for activities that promote awareness of Chlamydia during Sexual Health Awareness Week 2012 (14–21 February). The aim is to increase young adults awareness of Chlamydia and encourage testing.

The Palliative Care Council South Australia (PCCSA) has undertaken to assist Palliative Care Australia and the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing to implement the Palliative Care Equipment Program.
The primary aim of this program is to significantly increase community access to new equipment which can be loaned to the patient and carer.
Grants will be made on an application basis to appropriate palliative care and other relevant organisations for the purchase of palliative care aids and equipment to be loaned to palliative care patients and their families and carers for people who choose to remain at home whilst receiving palliative care or residents in other community settings including but not limited to residential aged care facilities.
In South Australia $261,700 is available for the purchase of relevant equipment (items must be listed on Schedule 3 of the GST and Medical aids and appliances Guide).

Applications to the 2011 Print Disability Scholarship and Seniors Grant will close Friday 25 November!

The Joseph Seridis Trust Fund has been created in memory of Joseph Seridis, in collaboration with UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide, to enable grants to be distributed to assist young people with physical and/or multiple disabilities to obtain equipment that enhances daily living.
The Trustees invite applications for assistance from or on behalf of young people with a disability between the age of 16 and 30 years. The 2011-12 Richard Llewellyn Arts and Disability Trust (RLADT) funding round is now open for applications. All applications must be received by Arts SA (or postmarked) by 5pm on 31 March 2011.
The application forms and instructions on how to apply can be found on the downloads page of the new RLADT website.
All forms are also available on the Arts SA website. If you would like the application forms posted to you, please contact Lara Torr on 84635423 or torr.lara@dpc.sa.gov.au.
One of the most important things to do if you are planning to apply for a grant is to share your idea with the RLADT staff. This gives them a chance to confirm that your project is eligible for funding and to make sure that you have all the information you need to apply. Pap Smear Awareness Week 2011 Sunday 1 May – Saturday 7 May

The Advance Your Passion Awards are development grants to help young Australians with bleeding disorders to pursue a specific dream or talent.
The Awards are one-off grants of up to $5000 open to two categories of applicants:

To celebrate Sexual Health Awareness Week 2011, SHine SA is running a Community Grants program to increase young adults’ awareness of their choices in contraception.
Sexual Health Awareness Week (14–21 February) aims to increase awareness of sexual health and encourage South Australian communities to start talking openly about relationships and sexuality.

Heta is launching its Community Grants Program!
The grant will support a community member undertaking a project/resourcing opportunity that assists in their growth, or provides a benefit to the community. The Grants are only available to individuals. Only individuals who are either disadvantaged, disengaged, or have a disability and are aged between 17 and 65 are eligible to apply. A monetary grant of up to a maximum of $2,000 will be available to a successful applicant.
The Round is open from Monday 25 October and closes on Friday 26 November 2010.
