The Loop Event 2: Intersections

As an addendum to our previous post on the Loop Conference, the second event of the conference will be titled Intersections: Person-centered work, community building, and leadership.

This will be a two day workshop from Friday 30 April – Saturday 1 May 2010, presented by John O’Brien and Connie Lyle O’Brien.

The Loop 2 Day Workshop March 2010

The Julia Farr Association is hosting a two-day workshop with speakers Jenny Pitts (UK) and Penny Hambleton (NZ) to discuss ‘How individualised funding approaches shape a new view of quality’.

This two-day workshop will be held on Monday 29th March and Tuesday 30th March 2010.

Calling All Artists!

The Julia Farr Association is presenting an art exhibition with the theme of “A Good Life “.

Artists are encouraged to interpret elements or aspects which contribute toward ‘a good life’. What does ‘a good life’ mean to you? Feel welcome to interpret the theme broadly and and to explore issues which are relevant to you, the disability sector and the broader community.

The exhibition will run from 29th June 2010 to 28th January 2011.

Artwork must be received by 5pm, Friday 28th May 2010.
