Team Leader – Community Services North

Autism SA is a leading provider of services to individuals and families living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in Australia and is seeking to employ an inspirational Team Leader who is passionate to improve outcomes for families and children in the Northern area.

The Team Leader – North is responsible for the running and supervision of Autism SA’s northern suburbs facility, supervising a team of support workers in providing respite and day options to a variety of clients with intellectual disabilities and/or challenging behaviours. Some work will occur at Autism SA’s head office in Netley.

Duties may include administration, planning, staff supervision, family liaison and roster coordination whilst ensuring quality services are being delivered, evaluated and maintained.

A degree in a relevant discipline (eg. social work, disability studies, psychology) is required.

This is a full time, ongoing position subject to a satisfactory probationary period and funding agreements.

Independent Advocacy is a values driven organisation promoting valued lives for people with an intellectual disability.

Independent Advocacy is seeking a person to commence duties in January 2011 for 20 hours per week with potential to increase to 28 hours (negotiable). The successful applicant will have a good understanding of social disadvantage, be able to relate to people with intellectual disability, and ideally have acted in an advocacy role. Salary is covered under SCHCDSI Award Level 5 and salary sacrifice is available. A current driver’s licence is essential.

Edmund Rice Camps SA Inc (ERC) is seeking to appoint forward-thinking, motivated and innovative leaders in the role of Board Members.

ERC is a volunteer-based, charitable organisation that provides services to over 600 children, young people, & volunteers each year. ERC also provides Training to the community in the areas of Child Safe Environments, Change Management, First Aid, Team Building & Protective Behaviours.
