The University of Sydney is performing a study which examines the question “Do health care providers facilitate or inhibit the sexual well-being of people with neuromuscular diseases?”
As part of this study an online survey is being held. Participants who have been diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease, are aged over 18 years and have consulted a health care provider (at any time) are invited to complete the survey. The survey will take between 30 and 50 minutes to complete and is anonymous.
For more information about the study and the survey itself click here.

FReedom to Explore Sexual Health builds on past successes in providing training for disability workers, youth workers, Aboriginal and CALD community workers. Assessment modules are a recommended option.
SHineSA is offering the chance to attend the newly re-written FRESH Course at the rate of 2 from one agency for the price of 1.
If workers need to come to Adelaide from a long distance and will be staying here for several nights away from home, they can attend for ½ price.
The first offering of the 3-day CORE will be held very soon on 21st, 22nd and 23rd July and the second will be held on 18th, 19th and 20th August, with a third beginning in October.
This discount is offered so as to increase the numbers this first time around and therefore to improve numbers for the series of electives which are on offer after these two COREs are over.
