The Carer Support Groups Expo is for carers registered with the Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Centre, (North & West metro Adelaide). It will provide an opportunity for carers to find out what support exists for them in the community.

The focus of this particular Expo is specifically for those who are caring for someone living with:

• An Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Intellectual Disability, or
• Psychiatric disorder.

When: Wednesday 30th May, 10am to 2pm

Where: Enfield Community Centre, 540 Regency Road, Enfield. Off-street parking available at the centre.

‘Take Time’ mornings are for parents and carers of children on the spectrum to come and receive general advice regarding how to assist their child. The group aims to have a guest speaker at each session who is a professional and experienced with treating children on the spectrum.

Meets: Last Friday of the month 10:00am – 11:00am

Venue: Impact Church, 104 Pimpala Road, Morphett Vale

Library Service: Families are able to borrow therapy toys, resources for free. The Boardmaker Program is available to be used on the premises or taken home.

Adult clients registered with Autism SA and their parents are welcome to participate in a therapeutic group aimed at more efficiently managing your mental health problems such as anxiety, stress, addictions, depression, self-harm, burn out and more. You will learn mindfulness skills to change your relationship with your symptoms so that they no longer hold you back fron creating a meaningful life.
