The School of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia is conducting a research project that seeks to identify methods of measuring stress.
They are looking for carers between the ages of 18 and 70 to volunteer for the study.

Damien Lynch, a longtime volunteer at DIRC, has recently been awarded a bronze medal for his longtime loyalty and contribution to Rostrum. He was presented the medal at the Club 18 Christmas function. Damien has been a member of Rostrum’s Club 18 and Club 26 for many years. He is a regular contributor and attendee at Rostrum annual functions such as Anniversary Lunch, Voice of Youth and Speaker of the Year.
Damien also won the Club 26 Most Improved Speaker award and the ‘joke off’ event at the Christmas Party.

Mr. Ted Evans, a PHD student in the Department of Disability Studies at Flinders University, is undertaking research on the subject of “An exploration of the expectations, needs and experiences of people with disabilities participating in Community Access Services in Australia”.
Mr. Evans is seeking volunteers to participate in a short interview on the above subject. Any information provided in the interview will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
