The Mental Health Coalition of South Australia are pleased to provide you with an opportunity to attend an innovative and interactive 1 day workshop on Tender Writing. The ‘Love Me Tender’ workshops are being held on:

Wednesday 25th of May & Thursday 26th of May at Rockford Hotel Adelaide, 164 Hindley Street, Adelaide

This is a Full day workshop, catering is provided.

There is no cost to attend these workshops however registration is essential as places are limited. He is mentoring 38 people with a disability working in a wide range of genres including life stories, drama, poetry and fiction.

The results of their work will be published in an anthology later this year.

Thanks to the Richard Llewellyn Arts and Disability Trust the SA Writers’ Centre has recently appointed Malcolm Walker, author of The Stone Crown (Walker Books 2008), as Writer-in-Residence to work with people with a disability.

Whether writing in a professional or recreational capacity, or simply wanting to tell their own story, writers are invited to come to the Centre to discuss their work on a one-to-one basis, or, if unable to access the city, via telephone or email.

Although this service is available to members of the SA Writers’ Centre we would like to invite anyone with a disability who has an interest in writing to make an appointment with Malcolm.
